Is the engine really free?
Yes. The statistics engine and the modellum command-line tool will be open source at launch and free for everyone, including commercial use inside your organisation. You pay for the desktop app, or for a commercial license if you build the engine into a product you sell. How the licensing works.
How does the free trial work?
When Modellum launches, you can download the app and use every feature for 30 days. No card, no account. When it ends, enter a license key or keep using the free command-line engine.
Yearly or perpetual?
Renews each year. Cancel any time and keep it until the end of the year you paid for. Pay once and keep that version forever, with 12 months of updates included. After the 12 months you can keep using your version, or buy another year of updates at a discount.
Who counts as a student or academic?
Students enrolled at a degree-granting institution, and faculty, staff and researchers at universities and non-profit research institutes. We may ask for an institutional email address. Paid consulting work needs a Professional license.
Can my department or university buy a site license?
Yes, with volume pricing, invoices, purchase orders and a single key for a lab, department or campus. Write to sales@modellum.app.
What if it isn't right for me?
If Modellum doesn't work out within 30 days of buying, write to us for a full refund.
